PSA Comments of the Day 10/13/15: NLDS Game 4 (x2)

Both NLDS could end today, both could continue, or one could end and one could continue. A true 3 outcome day.

I'm not sure if this is supposed to be anti-Chase Utley. Do you know?

Anthony Gruppuso-USA TODAY Sports

I'm back, Pinstripe Alley and I'm bringing you another open thread. Where everything's made up and the "recs" don't matter. Unfortunately for us, Greg has been trapped inside of a board game and is now on day 1 of a 26 year waiting period for some random children to roll a 5 or 8. Or he's standing outside of Ed Sullivan Theater yelling "I Colbertly stand to be apart from you, Stephen!" Or it was just my turn to do this thread. Who knows the truth? Let's just keep on keepin' on.

Today in the world of Major League Baseball, you can witness something called a Game 4 (actually two somethings called Game 4). See as a Yankee fan, I wouldn't understand the concept of playoff series lasting more than 1 game. Why would you need more than one game to determine who should advance? It's not like baseball's a game where anything can just happ--Ok I won't do this now. Anyway let's begin.

Comments of the Day

Y'all are giving me nothing to work with. Or less work to do. I haven't decided yet.

GIF of the Day

Honorable Mod Mention

Tanya wins because it's a good idea to stay on the boss' good side I saw a trailer for Spectre and her last name starts with Bond.

Fun Questions

  • Letter openers. Do you use them?
  • How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

Song of the Day

Growin' Up by Bruce Springsteen

Thanks to a wonderful person, it is Springsteen Week on Pinstripe Alley. Here's one that a buddy of mine introduced me to not too long ago that I really enjoyed. When I couldn't decide which song to choose...I combed his songs, til it was just right.

Feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. Both NLDS will play Game 4 today. In one corner, the Cubs get a chance to put away the Cardinals and advance to the NLCS. In the other (note: I'm typing this before I see the results of the Mets/Dodgers game), the [ insert winning team here ] get the chance to do the same against the [ insert losing team here ]. What a game that was, right?! I know my favorite part was when [ insert baseball player here ] did [ insert thing done by baseball player here ]. I'm sure it must be an exciting time to be a fan of the [ insert winning team here ]! Or if you don't want to talk about baseball, you can discuss jelly bean flavors and the wildest ones you've ever tried.

(one game playoffs are dumb and I'm not over it)
