Our last COTG award of the year goes to Chrisp722. I'm pretty sure many a Yankee fan had that exact face after Jeter was removed from the game. His long career is now over. Thank you, Jeter.

The regular season is over now. The postseason has arrived and the Yankees will be spectators for the second year in a row. Since we will have no more Game Threads, this thread will be slightly modified until we get them back. The Comments of the Day section will be moved to the top. The Best GIF Of The Recap section will now simply be the GIF of the Day, since the off season is when we might need GIFs the most. The rest will pretty much stay as is though. Finally, if you have anything you'd like to have added to these Open Threads in the future, please let us know. These threads about for the community, after all.
