Game 156: New York Yankees vs. Baltimore Orioles, Big Mike vs. Chen

The AL East champions (weird) come to town as the final home series of Derek Jeter's career begins.

Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

This is it--the beginning of the final home series in Derek Jeter's illustrious 20-year career. Even with the Orioles likely taking it easy as they prepare for the playoffs, the Yankees face a tall task in trying to give their captain one more series victory at Yankee Stadium, as the O's own the second-best record in baseball at 93-62.

Still, the Yankees will send out one of their best starters in Michael Pineda. Just give him some run support for once--Pineda's run support this year has been an atrocious 2.4 runs per game. Fix this. Maybe Jose Pirela will help making his major league debut to push the Yankees' roster to a record 57 players, but probably not. Sigh.

Go Big Mike, go baseball.
