New York Yankees vs. Kansas City Royals - Pineda vs. Shields

The Royals come into town for one day only; can the Yankees make it five in a row?

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

The Yankees head over to Kansas City to take on the Royals and make up a postponed game from back on June 9. The Yankees lost the first two games of the series, but hopefully they can stave off the delayed sweep now that they've won four in a row. The last time the Yankees went to five in a row was back in April, so a streak like that would help this team immensely. Of course, the Royals are here for one day and they end up having to face James Shields, but if they can beat Chris Sale, hopefully, maybe, they can beat Shields. The Yankees send out Michael Pineda for his second start since returning from the disabled list.
