After a rain out yesterday against the Royals, the Yankees are in Seattle to begin a three game series with the Mariners this evening. Vidal Nuno will take the mound for the Yankees while Hisashi Iwakuma gets the start for the Mariners. If not for the rain out yesterday in Kansas City, it would have been a Masahiro Tanaka vs. Hisashi Iwakuma matchup that would have taken the Japanese baseball media world by storm. Or perhaps they're happy to spread out the star pitcher love these next two days.

Meanwhile, it appears that Shawn Kelley will rejoin the Yankees bullpen tomorrow. Who will be sent down to make room for him has yet to be decided. Nevertheless, Kelley could provide a much needed boost to the overused bullpen. Hopefully he is back, and in rare form.
