Daily Yankees Predictions 5/23/14: Feelin' Stronger Every Day

The Yankees will send Hiroki Kuroda to the mound in the second game of this four game series against the White Sox. David Phelps pitched a great game last night. Did PSAers do as well with their predictions? Find out.

Let's be honest with one another. I don't think anyone expected the Yankees to have much of a chance in a Chris Sale vs. David Phelps pitching matchup. However, despite the loss, there were definitely some positives to take from yesterday. The main positive is David Phelps' very impressive start. Two runs and eight strikeouts over seven innings is a quality start from any pitcher. The Yankees are showing some late inning heroics as well.

They just need to ditch Aceves.

Shockingly, no one predicted Phelps to go seven innings tonight. The Aarons doubt that anyone here is upset that he did. They also were not sure we'd have a winner, but thankfully they are not upset that we do. Our winner is selftitled85, who scored 3,000 points for his victory. He "aardvark'd up" according to Aaron Dos. Aaron Dos was also potentially high.

Hiroki Kuroda gets the start on the south side tonight against the White Sox. Phelps stepped it up last night. It's time for Kuroda to do the same tonight. We could use a good start from him. Oh, and offense? You're on watch as well.

Go Yankees!
