Wait, who's pitching?
I know the Cubs' pitcher, Jeff Samardzija, the guy with the mullet who's been a serviceable middle of the rotation starter the last couple years.
But for the Yankees? For the team with the second highest payroll in baseball?
Oh, you say Chase Whitley is making just his 16th career starts at age 25 after spending most of 2012, all of 2013, and part of 2014 in Scranton? This is a guy who the Yankees never really gave starts to before, even though the Yankees usually defy all logic and reason to keep pitchers as starters for as long as possible.
Come on offense, you took the night off yesterday. We're gonna need you today.
Go Yankees. Go daytime baseball.
