Everybody loves a rubber game!
Masahiro Tanaka's pinstripe debut was better than any of us had the right to hope for, but now expectations have been set high. He has the chance to outshine Ivan Nova (shouldn't be a tall order), and to deliver a series win. So long as he can keep the ball away from his infielders, he should be fine.
The Yankees lineup will face 30-year-old righty Miguel Gonzalez, who gave up a Nova-esque 7 ER in 3.1 innings against the Tigers his last time out. The Yankee lineup is not quite as intimidating, but with so many regulars hitting below .250 with zero power, we've got no where to go but up!
