It appears that just about every team is getting involved in this whole offseason thing. The San Diego Padres, Tampa Bay Rays, and Washington Nationals completed a three-way mega trade that will send Wil Myers to San Diego and out of the American League. Yes, not just the AL East. The. Whole. AL. Yankee pitching should be thrilled by this news. Another interesting tidbit of this trade is that Nats acquisition of SS prospect Trea Turner. This could mean that the Nats might be looking to trade Ian Desmond away very soon. We shall see.

You know, it's kind of funny how people who think that the villainous A-Rod is just going to leave money on the table and "do the right thing" so to speak. Hi-larious.

So yeah, Alex Rodriguez claims that he's not giving up the third base position without a fight. Some will assume that he simply means he's hoping to get back in shape. Others will assume this means challenging Chase Headley to pistols at dawn.
