PSA Comments of the Day 12/12/14: Coming back with nothing

New, comments

The Winter Meetings are over and the Yankees are coming home empty handed. No new starting pitchers, no new position players, and they lost their elite reliever. Perhaps they at least got in some hammock time. Pitchers and catchers report in 69 days.

Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

The Winter Meetings in San Diego are now over with. A lot of trades and signings took place. Both the White Sox and Cubs seem to be making a run for their respective divisions. The Dodgers were extremely busy, the Red Sox upgraded their rotation. Of course, by upgraded I mean they have something resembling a rotation now. The Yankees? Nothing. Nada. Zip. Zilch. The only thing they came back home with was a tan.

Comments of the Day

LTL and El Cruz start the COTD section the best way possible. Pungineering.

Matt Providence was either referring to the hotness of the hot takes or showing where Tropicana Field needs to be right now.

Perhaps a bit extreme, but yeah the Yankees did squat.

You don't say...

I'd like to imagine this is how all contract negotiations go.

Are double stuffed Oreos nourishing?

This probably won't be the last Max Scherzer discussion.

Oh Ralph...

I thought Dynasties were prepared via proper Dynasty Recipes.

The takes, they are hot.

Welcome aboard, Sir yankswonalot

...that's a giant Steinbrenner face in the background, isn't it?

Blanky is blue. If she were green she would die, if she were green she would die, if she were green she would die.

Keep in mind, this is what The Joker said he wanted in the 1989 Batman movie...

No chance, that's what you've got!

Honorable Mod Mention

Matt Providence has a lot of blue'd comments up above. He wins the HMM for getting himself Blue'd up!
