7/6: Overhustle into home

Last Saturday, Eduardo Nunez drove in the go-ahead run, Lyle Overbay. It looked like it might be a close play at the plate, so since Overbay has the speed of a sloth, he decided to barrel into catcher Taylor Teagarden. It was underwhelming.

7/8: Rain delay crisis

There was a rain delay on Monday. It was an utter strugglefest getting the tarp on the field, and it some ways, it was a metaphor for the 2013 season.

On Wednesday night, a Royals batter popped up between shortstop Nunez and second baseman Robinson Cano. Bobby Beisbol got a little sassy with Eduardo for entering his zone. He's clearly having too much fun.
