Marshall had three good innings to start the game, but exploded for four runs in the fourth and another in the fifth. His ERA hovers around 8 for the season. The bullpen didn't help matters, as Spence allowed four additional runs before it was over with. Chris Bootcheck starts for SWB today at 1:05 pm.

The Thunder pitching staff was victimized by the long ball, with Ramirez giving up two and Kahnle giving up another. The game was tied heading into the sixth inning of a seven inning game, but the homer allowed by Kahnle put the Flying Squirrels on top for good.

Turley allowed two homers in his five innings of work and the Thunder offense was already in a 0-3 hole before they managed to push a run across in the fourth inning. Zach Nuding starts for Trenton today at 1:05 pm.

High-A Tampa Yankees: Postponed for rain

Bryan Mitchell gets the start for the Yankees today at 1:00 pm. Michael Pineda is expected to pitch at some point today. Second game to follow afterward.
