Marshall had three good innings to start the game, but exploded for four runs in the fourth and another in the fifth. His ERA hovers around 8 for the season. The Thunder pitching staff was victimized by the long ball, with Ramirez giving up two and Kahnle giving up another. The game was tied heading into the sixth inning of a seven inning game, but the homer allowed by Kahnle put the Flying Squirrels on top for good.

Bryan Mitchell gets the start for the Yankees today at 1:00 pm. Michael Pineda is expected to pitch at some point today. Second game to follow afterward.
