Nuno left early in the game with an injury, but two runs by the RailRiders offense had them in decent shape. Unfortunately, the backend of the bullpen melted down and coughed up the lead and the game in the eighth inning. Brett Marshall pitches for SWB tonight at 7:05 pm.

Double-A Trenton Thunder: Postponed for rain

The only blemish on Allen's line came on a two-out solo home run in the first inning. Alex Smith faltered a bit in the 13th inning and the RiverDogs couldn't recover in the bottom of the frame. DePaula's only run came on a solo shot in the fourth inning. Otherwise, it was business as usual with eight punch outs in five innings. Evan Rutckyj starts for Charleston today at 6:05 pm.
