Cotham had one bad inning, allowing all four of his runs in the top of the third. The RailRiders cut the deficit in half in the bottom of the frame, and tied the game the next inning. Two more runs in the sixth and some shutdown bullpen work on the part of Betances (!!!) helped them to their 26th win of the season. Vidal Nuno will start for the first time since being sent back down today at 7:05 pm.

Can't win if you don't score, and three hits generally isn't going to cut it. For as good as everyone thought this offense would be, they have really sputtered at times. Mikey O'Brien gets the start for the Thunder today at 6:35 pm.

Gumbs doubled in Eduardo Sosa in the eleventh inning to give the Yankees their 26th win of the season in extra innings. Tonight was the season debut of Brady Lail who was drafted out of high school in the 18th round of last year's draft. He pitched in Rookie Ball last year, so this was quite a jump for him. All-Star Shane Greene starts for Tampa tonight at 7:00 pm.

Low-A Charleston RiverDogs: L 2-6 vs. Greenville Drive

CF Jake Cave 1-4, E8 - fielding error, first of the season
SS Claudio Custodio 1-4, RBI - batting .282/.364/.385 over his last 10 games
1B Greg Bird 0-3, BB, 2 K

Dietrich Enns 3 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 4 K - 0.76 ERA this season

The Drive jumped out to a 4-0 lead before the RiverDogs ever stepped to the plate. That would be all they would need to win the game, out-hitting Charleston 10 to 4. Enns gave up his first earned run out of the bullpen this season. All good streaks must come to an end. Cesar Vargas starts for the RiverDogs today at 7:05 pm.
