Notes from the Gulf Coast League:

Both GCL teams picked up a victory today. For GCL Yankees 1, Adonis Garcia was 0-3 with a strikeout. Tyler Wade picked up two hits, stole a base, and worked a walk. Second round pick Gosuke Katoh was held hitless and Austin Aune went 1-3 with a double and two RBI. Aune committed his first error of the season in right field, which seems like where they moved him after he was terrible defensively at shortstop a year ago (15 errors in 31 games).

GCL Yankees 2 won 15-12 in the 14th inning after picking up 21 hits (!!!) in the game. Kendall Coleman was 1-8 with two strikeouts, Nathan Mikolas went hitless with a walk and a strikeout, and third baseman Renzo Martini was 3-6 with two doubles, four RBI, and a walk. Second baseman Jose Javier went 4-7 with three doubles and two RBI, a walk, and a strikeout. Bryan Cuevas and Luis Torrens each hit a homer and picked up three hits.
