The Yankees beat the Indians today 11-6, as they pummeled Ubaldo Jimenez and crew for 13 hits, three of which sailed out of Progressive Field. Travis Hafner set the tone in his return to Cleveland by slugging a three-run bomb in his first at-bat, and Robinson Cano broke out of his first-week slump with two homers of his own:
Cano later hit a sinking line drive to center that Michael Bourn snared for an out, but he made a face that just about perfectly described most Cleveland fans' reaction to this game.
Sorry, Mr. Bourn. But not really.
