Mark Montgomery 2 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 3 K - 17 of 24 pitches for strikes
Jim Miller 1 IP, 1 H, 4 ER, 3 BB - has now given up nine runs in two innings
Miller gave up a grand slam in the ninth inning to really eliminate a chance for a RailRiders comeback after SWB threatened in the eighth inning down one run. The RailRiders try to salvage one game of the series tomorrow at 1 pm.
Double-A Trenton Thunder: postponed vs. Portland Sea Dogs
The game was postponed because the field was frozen. Yes, really. They'll try again tomorrow at 1 pm.
High-A Tampa Yankees: L 3-8 vs. Lakeland Flying Tigers
Mason Williams 2-5, 2 K
Angelo Gumbs 0-5
Ben Gamel 3-5, 2B, RBI, SB
Gary Sanchez 2-4, RBI, BB, K - batting .538 so far. SSS!
Matt Snyder 0-3, 2 BB
Eduardo Sosa 3-4, E9 - fielding error
Ali Castillo 1-3, RBI
Shane Greene 5 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 8 K - two groundouts, three fly outs

The Yankees were winning until De La Cruz's and Arneson's seven-run blow up in the eighth inning. Tampa out-hit Lakeland 11 to 10, but it wasn't enough to overcome the bullpen meltdown. These two teams close out the series tomorrow at 1 pm.
Low-A Charleston RiverDogs: W 6-2, L 4-8 vs. Greenville Drive

Game Two:
Taylor Dugas 2-4
Cito Culver 2-4, 2B, 3B, RBI, K, E6 - fielding error, second of the day
Dante Bichette Jr. 0-3, BB
Greg Bird 3-4, 2B, RBI
Yeicok Calderon 2-4, HR, RBI
Saxon Butler 1-4, 2B, RBI, K
Nick McCoy 0-4, 3 K
Derek Varnadore 2 IP, 6 H, 5 R/4 ER, 4 BB, 2 K - 38 of 60 pitches for strikes
Philip Wetherell 4 IP, 6 H, 3 ER, BB, 4 K, WP
The RiverDogs split a double-header with the Greenville Drive, but the big story will be the success of pitching prospect Rafael DePaula in his American debut. With all the fake name and via issues, DePaula lost some valuable time while he was stuck in the Dominican Republic. Eleven strikeouts in 4.1 innings in his first game in the States is something to really be proud of, and shows a glimpse of why scouts are so high on him. The final game of the series is tomorrow at 4 pm.
