The RailRiders tied the game at three-all in the seventh inning, but the pitchers gave the lead right back to the Red Sox with a five-run eighth inning.

Slade Heathcott 1-4, 3 K - picked up first Double-A hit
Ramon Flores 1-4, 3 K
Tyler Austin 0-4, 2 K
JR Murphy 0-2, 2 K, 2 E2 - both errors came on pickoffs

Jeremy Bleich 2.1 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 2 K - allowed both inherited runners to score
Aaron Dott 2 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 2 K
Poor Nuding. Seven runs in 3.2 innings and none of them were earned because of some seriously sloppy defense in the field that amounted to six errors in the game for the Thunder.
High-A Tampa Yankees: W 9-2 vs. Lakeland Flying Tigers
Mason Williams 1-3, 2 BB, K
Angelo Gumbs 2-5, 3 RBI
Ben Gamel 2-5, 2B, 3 RBI
Gary Sanchez 3-5, RBI, K
Zach Wilson 3-5, 2 2B, E5 - throwing error
Ali Castillo 0-3, BB, 2 K - only Yankee to not pick up a hit
Corey Black 5 IP, 6 H, 2 ER, BB, 5 K, HBP - six groundouts to four flyouts
Daniel Mahoney 2 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 3 K
Manuel Barreda 2 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 2 BB, 2 K
The Yankees fell behind, but rallied back behind fourteen hits in the game, partially thanks to five errors on the part of the Flying Tigers. Minor league baseball, everyone!
Low-A Charleston RiverDogs: L 2-4 vs. Greenville Drive
Cito Culver 2-5, 2B, E6 - fielding error
Rob Refsnyder 0-4, BB, K, SB
Greg Bird 0-2, 3 BB, K, E3 - error on a pickoff
Dante Bichette Jr. 0-5, 3 K - well, that's a promising start...
Yeicok Calderon 1-3, BB
Peter O'Brien 1-4, 2 K, E2, PB - throwing error
Saxon Butler 1-3, 2B, BB, K
Claudio Custodio 0-4, 2 K
Cesar Vargas 5 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, BB, 6 K - 40 of 61 pitches for strikes
Brett Gerritse 1 IP, 3 H, 4 R/3 ER, 2 BB, K
Ben Paullus 2 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 3 BB, 4 K
The Drive scored all four of their runs in the sixth inning and the RiverDogs couldn't muster any offense after Gerritse's meltdown. Three strikeouts in a game at a level DBJ is repeating is not really ideal, but it was their first game of the season, and hopefully that proves to be an aberration instead of something that becomes a pattern again. The RiverDogs have a double-header tomorrow afternoon to make up for Thursday's rainout.
