The Crawdads scored in all but the first inning and the RiverDogs only got three hits, which should tell you all you need to know about this one. Ugly.
Game Two:
CF Taylor Dugas 1-4
SS Cito Culver 0-4, 3 K - 5 for his last 35 (.143) with 15 Ks
1B Greg Bird 0-3, 2 K
C Peter O'Brien 1-3, 2B, K - 12 for his last 38 (.316)

Taylor Garrison 2 IP, 1 H, 0 ER, 0 BB, 4 K
Alex Smith 1 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, BB, 2 K
So, Rafael DePaula was pretty much the only good thing to happen to Charleston today in their doubleheader against Hickory. They only managed three hits in each game; but in DePaula's game, he and Connor Sadzeck tossed scoreless inning after scoreless inning that eventually led to extra innings (minor league doubleheaders are seven innings each). At least five hitless from DePaula is something to hang their hat on. The rest is definitely something to forget. The RiverDogs have today off to shake off the heavy dose of funk.
