Andy Pettitte turns 41 in June. I am very glad that he's discovered Mariano Rivera's secret elixir to staying young.
Seven and a third solid innings from the ol' lefty last night. Two of the three runs he allowed came across when the Yankees had a seven-run lead and he was just throwing strikes to get through the game. Pettitte's won all three of his starts and pitched to a 2.01 ERA and 49 ERA-. Only four players in baseball are older than him, but it's clearly whatever.
