The Indians could have started former Yankee farmhand Zach McAllister in this game since he would have been on regular rest, but they chose to keep him in his rotation spot and pitch Kluber instead. It will be his 2013 debut, so I used his brief two-year career numbers for statistics.
Update: The game is in a rain delay, but it sure seems unlikely that the game will begin since a heavy storm is coming at 7:30. The ESPN2 crew seems very unsure about whether or not the game will be played, but we'll see.
Update II: Postponed. Only one game tomorrow. No make-up date is yet announced.
Ivan Nova will look to rebound from a shoddy beginning to the season in his last start, an 8-3 loss to the Tigers.
