As most of us in the United States take today off to spend with those we love while eating copious amounts of food, I'd like to take a moment to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving on behalf of the staff here at Pinstripe Alley. To the readers and commenters, you guys are why we do what we do. Your comments fuel ideas and your discussions make us all better fans for elevating the way we look at different aspects of the Yankees and baseball. Thank you for reading and commenting on everything we do. You really help make this place a community. To the staff, I truly couldn't do this without you guys. You believe in my ideas enough to do pretty much everything I ask of you and you all work incredibly hard 365 days a year. You put yourselves out there and are always coming up with new ideas that promote discussion to foster the community we have. The improvements we've made are a huge testament to you guys being so great and I am both constantly impressed and always appreciative.
With turkey comes football, so if you have fulfilled your requirements with your families and just want to hang out and discuss those games, here is the place to do it. Lions vs. Packers kicks off the day at 12:30 pm, followed by Cowboys vs. Raiders at 4:30, and Ravens vs. Steelers to round out the night at 8:30 pm. Feel free to discuss anything non-football here as well. What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Do you have a huge family get together or is it just your immediate family? What are you most thankful for this year?
You'll notice that we won't have quite the volume of posts as usual over the course of today and likely through the weekend, allowing everyone to relax and take time to celebrate what this holiday is most about. We'll still be here, though, so check in when you can. Things should be back to full strength on Monday. In the mean time, I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving.
