ALCS Game Four: Athletics vs. Tigers & Rays vs. Red Sox

New, comments

Two teams can clinch while two teams try to spoil their efforts.

Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The Athletics and Red Sox will try to clinch a trip to the ALCS to face off with each other for the right to represent the American League in the World Series with a win today. Oakland pitched up a victory yesterday to break a 1-1 tie in the series against Detroit. Can they advance to the ALCS with a rookie going up against Doug Fister? The Rays avoided elimination last night with a thrilling walk-off victory via a home run from Jose Lobaton. They'll have to do it again tonight if they want a chance against Boston in a do-or-die game at Fenway to settle the series.

Detroit and Oakland have the 5:00 pm ET game on TBS and Postseason.tv. Boston and Tampa Bay will kick off at 8:00 pm ET on the same channels.
