Fairly simple rooting interests for the two League Championship Series: go Donnie Baseball's Dodgers, and go Team ABB (Anyone But Boston).
NLCS Game 2
The Dodgers and Cardinals play the afternoon game today in St. Louis, just about 15 hours after the NLCS opener ended on a walk-off single by Carlos Beltran, whose playoff numbers rival Babe Ruth. The second game will start at 4:07 PM EDT on TBS. The pitching matchup is damn good, especially considering Clayton Kershaw's otherworldly 2013 and rookie Michael Wacha's crazy recent stretch of 16 innings with just two hits allowed and 18 strikeouts.

ALCS Game 1
The Red Sox and Tigers have somewhat surprisingly never played against each other in postseason play, partially due to the Tigers being in the AL East from the start of divisional play in 1969 until 1997. The opener at Fenway Park features AL ERA leader Anibal Sanchez against veteran lefty Jon Lester, and it will kick off at 8:07 PM EDT on FOX.

Enjoy your evenings.
