More Bad Catchers:

Come on down, Bobby Wilson. You're the next no-hit catcher vying for the starting job in Spring Training! Francisco Cervelli, Chris Stewart, and Austin Romine are shaking in their chest pads, no doubt.

D-Rob Files Arbitration Proposal:

The Yankees and David Robertson submitted proposed salaries yesterday, and remain less than one million dollars apart at $2.85 million and $3.55 million, respectively. If the sides cannot come to a deal, an arbitrator will hand down a judgement in favor of the team or the player, but it shouldn't get to that point with so little money standing between the two.

Projecting the 2014 Payroll:

Obviously, this is not an exact science, but it's a good look at where the team will stand heading into the year of the great $$189 million dollar limitation. Bonus points for finding room for Robinson Cano, Phil Hughes, and Justin Upton with a few million to spare. It can be done, it just needs to be done intelligently.

Winter Movie Watching:

The Yahoo! Contributor Network put together a list of ten movies for Yankee fans to watch before Spring Training gets under way. Some that appear on the list include Major League, 61*, Nine Innings From Ground Zero, The Scout, and Damn Yankees.
