Tonight's open thread task:
Go into all-out prediction mode and forecast what the MLB standings will look like in a month and a few days, when the season concludes and there is hopefully a four-way tie for both Wild Card spots. Perhaps if that happens, we'll get a classic Bud Selig moment like this one. Baseball's impossible to predict, but it's fun to offer thoughts on this anyway.
