Greg of Thrones
Greg of Thrones

Exciting times are here as we now enter unknown territory: Live Chats. Since many a Pinstripe Alley member knows how much I like to talk and get to know people, here is a chance to get to know me a little more. Tomorrow I will hosting the first Pinstripe Alley Live Chat. You get to ask me questions and I will answer them live, on my bed, behind my beautiful HD laptop screen. Clothes are, of course, optional. I hope this is a new, fun experience for everyone. Like Rick James said, "Enjoy Yourself!"

Okay, Greg Kirkland is awake. Let us chat LIVE!

Xavier10: What are your Top 10 Food and Drinks?

Greg: Lets see. Top 10 Food would be Spaghetti and Meatballs, Sushi, Pizza, Burgers, Chicken prepared so many ways, Queens Deli Sandwiches, Chinese Food (specifically Chicken W/ Garlic Sauce), Pernil (Roast Pork), anything Chocolate, and a good steak. For Drinks, my top 10 would be Mango Lemonade, Orange Juice, Pineapple Juice, Apple Juice, Strawberry Banana smoothies, Amazing Mango smoothies, Strawberry Lemonade, Chocolate Milk Shakes, Oreo smoothies, and water.

Rorschach: Would you like to see it?

Greg: You know I would!

Tanya: Favorite Game of Thrones character?

Greg: Definitely Jon Snow, but Tyrion Lannister would be a very close second!

david d: Boxers or briefs? and why?

Greg: Boxers, cause they're comfy!

Q-TDSK: How much of a raise, and is the offer still on the table?

Greg: The money and raise itself depends on the efficiency of the whole experience,

jscape2000 How would you suggest developing a September Sterling drinking game? I don't want to black out in the third inning, but I also don't want my liver to be functional by October.

Greg: Then you go by the ads that just surprise you. The new Ichiro Sapporo ad, or the Tex suit ad. The safe and secure will guarantee your liver won't be safe and secure by the end of the month!

long time listener: Ranks these players in order of Hall of Fame worthiness (most worthy to least worthy): Mike Mussina, Andy Pettitte, Jorge Posada, Tim Raines, Bernie Williams

Greg: Jorge Posada, Mike Mussina, Tim Raines, Andy Pettitte, and Bernie Williams

Andrew Mearns: As a New Yorker, I'm sure you get tired of people raving about tourist attractions. Do you have a least favorite?

Greg: Times Square during New Years Eve. Times Square in general just tends to bring out the stupidity in people.

Wazzo: What do you do about Nick Swisher's free agency? Granderson?

Greg: I personally think they should keep Swisher over Grandy. I like both, but this year we have seen how valuable Swisher really is. Not just with his hot bat, but with the versatility that he can also play first base when Tex needs a day off or gets injured.

Matt F: Compare some Yankees to characters from seminal 1995 movie "Waterworld".

Greg: Hmmmm. Well Girardi is definitely the Deacon and Phelps is that really old guy that sits on the boat in the dark who's sole purpose is to measure the oil. That's all I've got!

Matt F: How much wood could a woodchuck chuck, if a woodchuck could indeed chuck wood?

Greg: Just like with Jimmy crackin' corn, I don't care!

Matt F: Would you rather be attacked by several turkey sized horses or one horse sized turkey?

Greg: Several turkey sized horses. They're like mini-ponies, so I could probably take em. A giant turkey would be a vicious freak.

anonymous: What is your World Series prediction?

Greg: I never really make WS predictions, because the playoffs are a total crapshoot. But, like always, I'll say Yankees win cause that's what I hope for if they make it to the postseason!

Sergio Mitre Why do you hate me?

Greg: Cause you're awful!

Matt F: On a scale of 10 to 10, where does Karate Kid 2 rate?

Greg: 20

Matt F: If this was a Chopped basket, what do you make? Sauerkraut, gummy bears, lemon Snapple, bald eagle meat.

Greg: Roasted Eagle Thighs with a lemon Snapple & gummy bear compote and a small sauerkraut salad

long time listener: Surprised not to see nachos on your list of favorite foods. Did you have a bad experience with them?

Greg: Not at all. I have so many favorite foods. I love Nachos, but they are not in the Top 10 of favorite foods. Probably in the Top 20.

Okay, that's it for this Live Chat. Hope I answered all your questions to your liking. Until next time, I'mStillGivingYouARaise! I hope, anyway. Later, Greg fans!
