Time for another edition of Staff Q&A Sunday, the thread which gives you some info about our highly regarded and excellent staff. I'm your MC, I'mGivingYouAGregKirkland, and I have asked the staff five questions. Two are Yankees related, two are TV related, and the infinite question. Feel free to ask us questions if you so desire, and we will pick the best ones to answer.

1. Regarding the Yankees immediate future, lets say the next 5 years, what are you hoping for? What would you truly like to see from the Yankees organization?

William

A compelling team playing meaningful games until the very end in each season. The journey is about so much more than the end result. Every year, my hope is for an entertaining season that provides several memorable moments.

Andrew

I like the focus on fiscal responsibility that they're taking. The fewer A-Rod-like contracts offered the better--they're really seeing how these deals cripple a team's future payroll. With some players like Cano, they will need to break the bank, but they shouldn't be afraid to let players walk if their demands are ridiculous.

Mark

By 2017, I would hope that enough momentum has been built up for the Yankees to move in the right field fences by about fifty feet. I'm tired of seeing fly balls dying on the warning track.

Tanya

A few championships would be nice. Mostly, I'd like to see some of the high-profile prospects make it to the majors and have success. Successfully dealing with their budget limitations while fielding a competitive team would also be good to see.

Matt

Close the new stadium, rebuild the old one according the original blueprints and offer Eduardo Nunez as a sacrificial offering to the ghosts. And win six championships, because they're the Yankees.

Rob

On a very selfish level, I want to see Michael Pineda develop into a right handed version of CC Sabathia, mainly because I'm the biggest Pineda fanboy on the planet. Beyond that, I'm interested in seeing how the club begins to transition from their current nucleus toward the end of the five year window. Deep pockets are great, but developing young controllable talent from within is what is going to the keep the Yankees successful long term.

Greg

I'm really hoping that our young pitchers are develop well. Hughes, Nova, Banuelos, and Pineda, if developed well, would make a really dangerous rotation, along with CC, if they live up to their potential. Even if only 2 or 3 make it, the Yankees could still sign someone to help.

2. Who is your current favorite Yankees prospect and how soon do you think they'll be ready for the majors?

William

Gary Sanchez…don’t expect him to be ready for at least another two years, but I am already suffering from Posada withdrawal.

Andrew

I'm a big Mason Williams fan. I think he has the potential to be a faster version of another great Yankee center fielder with the last name "Williams" (not Gerald). I just really want them to be able to develop a great position player, which they haven't really done since Cano came up in '05.

Mark

Derek Jeter. With a little bit of minor league seasoning to fine tune his defense and get the ball in the air, I think he could be called up as soon as 2013.

Tanya

Kind of a draw right now between Manny Banuelos and Mason Williams. Manny might be ready at some point toward the middle of 2013 if he has no lasting issues coming back from his arm injury. Arm injuries are scary and missing a whole year makes things pretty uncertain, but he's young, so there shouldn't really be a huge rush.

For Mason, I think sometime during 2014 is a reasonable goal, though injuries at the major league level can always change that. If he does well in Spring Training next year, I could see them possibly starting him in Trenton if they want him on the fast track to the majors. They really need an outfielder soon, which could impact their decision making.

Matt

He's injured now, but there's this shortstop I've heard compared to Manny Machado. Alec something. I think he'll be healthy enough for a September call up. If not him, probably Betances. He should be ready next year as a situational retaliation pitcher out of the pen.

Rob

I'm a big fan of Mark Montgomery. He reminds me a lot of David Robertson, and is a guy that could be ready to contribute at some point during 2013.

Greg

Since I don't know much about the farm, I root for whoever has the awesome name. Right now I'm rooting for Zoilo Almonte and Adonis Garcia.

3. What is your favorite TV channel? You know, the one you can just leave on in the background while you're doing something like writing Staff Q&A Sunday questions.

William

Either TCM or Cloo.

Andrew

MLB Network. I don't really watch much TV beyond a few select shows, so I just have baseball on as much as I can.

Mark

I literally never do this. But when I was in college, my roommates would sometimes leave on Dish Earth which would display a satellite image of the Earth or the Moon and play music. Probably that.

Tanya

I usually put music on when I'm doing something instead of leaving the TV going. I don't know if I even have a favorite channel.

Matt

Whichever one I'm working for. (just in case they're reading) FX and AMC have the only shows on TV worth watching.

Rob

I really love Discovery, History, and A&E. I used to love HDNet, but since Seacrest got involved and changed the name, its gone to crap.

Greg

Easy question. Food Network. I could leave that station on forever. In fact it's on right now.

4. Keeping with the TV theme, who is your favorite actor or actress on TV? Any particular reason?

William

Current show: Jim Parsons…plays an incredibly unique television character with meticulous precision.

Recent Syndication: Tony Shaloub…see reason above.

All-time: Jack Klugman and Tony Randall in the Odd Couple (and Quincy for Klugman); entire cast of Cheers

Andrew

Neil Patrick Harris. Legen-wait for it... and I hope you're not lactose intolerant because the second half of this word is-dary.

Mark

Peter Dinklage. A Lannister always pays his debts.

Tanya

Right now, it's probably Emilia Clarke, because I am in the middle of watching/reading Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire books and I love her character. I have a thing for strong female characters. Plus dragons!

Matt

Christina Hendricks. For a couple reasons.

Rob

Zooey Deschanel from New Girl. Love her, for all the obvious reasons.

Greg

Jason Segel is pretty awesome on How I Met Your Mother. I also really like Norman Reedus, who plays Darryl on The Walking Dead.

Infinity. Current song stuck in your head?

William

Andrew

Can I say everything from the Tron: Legacy soundtrack? I've loved it since I saw the movie early last year, so this is nothing new, but Daft Punk just did amazing things on that soundtrack and it often gets stuck in my head. Just listen to the Overture or "Derezzed" if you want to know what I mean.

Mark

Ich Will by Rammstein

Tanya

Don Henley - Boys of Summer

Matt

Iron Maiden - Flight of Icarus

Rob

Avicii- Levels (I just got back from a weekend at the Jersey Shore. I need a few days to become normal again)

Greg

Can't Stop The Top by The Megas
