We'll be having a brand new manager at Pinstripe Alley. Because of personal commitments, I don't have the time to devote to it like I used to and like it deserves. I've been writing here since 2008, so it's been a big part of my life and I'll miss it. Thank you for visiting and reading this blog. It's going to be in great hands with the new manager. Cheers.

On to your regularly scheduled news...
- Imagine if the Yankees started hitting with RISP. They're currently last in the AL with a .219 batting average. That will eventually come up, and when it does... watch out AL!

- The 4th annual HOPE Week began yesterday when several Yankees visited horse stables in Van Cortlandt Park to help disabled children.

- Like imitates art? Little Jerry Seinfeld, the chicken that was supposed to bring luck to the Mets, was donated to The Farm Sanctuary in upstate New York after the Yanks took two of three from them and five of six in the season series. Tamale!

- The newest undervalued aspect of MLB isn't extreme defensive shifts, but maximizing players' sleep patterns. A doctor who specializes in studying sleep says utilizing it correctly can give players (and hence teams) a "huge" boost in performance.
