Phil Hughes vs Jeremy Hellickson

. Game time temperature around .

Complete Coverage >

Today, the Binder Bunny has left us presents of Raul Ibanez on defense and Chris Stewart, making his long-anticipated (?) return to the Yankees, behind the plate. This game... could be interesting. The Yankees will try to avoid a season-opening sweep by sending the resurgent Phil Hughes to the mound against last season's AL Rookie of the Year, Jeremy Hellickson. If you're looking for something to get excited about, all three of Robinson Cano (.455/.571/1.182), Mark Teixeira (.385/.467/.538), and Brett Gardner (.400/.538/.400) have experience success against Hellickson in his short career, though none has more than 15 plate appearances. Hughes will look to find success against Luke Scott (.533/.588/.733) and Matt Joyce (.400/.500/1.100), who have both hit him hard.

Lineups and the thread after the jump! Join us, we don't bite... maybe.
