The Yankees try to rebound from a disappointing Opening Day loss behind the debut of Hiroki Kuroda. The Japanese right hander will get his first taste of life in the American League against a revamped Rays lineup that includes yesterday's hero Carlos Pena batting second and Matt Joyce promoted from the ninth spot all the way to cleanup. Not to be outdone, Joe Girardi has also penciled a modified lineup, which could be a regular occurrence against a lefty. Of particular note, Nick Swisher and Curtis Granderson have been flip-flopped in the order, while Brett Gardner's platinum glove has been benched in favor of Andruw Jones bat.
