Game 1 of the ALDS has been postponed, and will be played tomorrow at 8:37 p.m. EST. The game will be resumed from its current point.
Game 2 of the ALDS will be played Sunday at 3:07 p.m. EST. The Yankees lose their off day and will play on Monday in Detroit as scheduled.
Ivan Nova will pitch the resumed game 1 tomorrow, with Freddy Garcia pitching game 2 on Sunday. A.J. Burnett will start if necessary, and CC Sabathia will likely only start once for the remainder of this series.
Doug Fister will pitch tomorrow, Max Scherzer will pitch Sunday, and Justin Verlander will pitch Monday in Detroit, and if necessary Porcello and Fister will go in games 4 and 5.

How hard is it to add a retractable roof to a shiny new stadium in New York? I think that's the most obvious idea of any for the new stadium. Ridiculous. Also, if MLB saw the forecast, why was the game ever started? Now we may not see a Verlander-Sabathia match-up. I will be in attendance Sunday, despite having work and specifically choosing a night game. If there was anything MLB could have done to avoid this, they should have.
