Joe Girardi tweaked the rotation. Here's how it looks for the three-game series in Boston that starts Tuesday: CC, Phil and A.J.

  • Derek Jeter broke the long-held Yankees record of games played in the matinee of yesterday's doubleheader. Mickey Mantle was the previous record holder, with 2401.
  • Maybe DJ spends too much time in a baseball uniform. He and Minka Kelly reportedly broke up. They were together for three years and were engaged to be married.
  • Joe Buck lost his voice. No wonder FOX baseball sounded so improved (relatively speaking) recently. Unfortunately for football fans, he'll still be the regularly scheduled guy.
  • Remember the potential offer some Scranton investors were putting together to buy the Yankees' Triple-A affiliate so that they couldn't move out of town? That fell through.
  • TYA interviewed Yankee beat-writer for the Newark Star-Ledger, Marc Carig.
  • Stay tuned for a 10 a.m. post about why all of us should be pulling for the rehabbing Stephen Strasburg.
