Hurricane A.J. has ripped through the Yankees' starting rotation once again.
A.J. Burnett allowed nine runs on nine hits over five innings on Friday night at Camden Yards as he continues to dare Joe Girardi to remove him from the equation. The Yankees were down six runs before they came to the plate in the third inning on their way to a 12-5 loss.
For Burnett, it was the curse of the bad inning once again. He allowed six runs in the second against a Baltimore team that entered play 26 games below .500.
Alex Rodriguez is probably the only Yankee who left the ballpark happy — he finally hit his 14th of the season.
