He strained his flexor muscle (in the right elbow) after a 35-pitch outing on Sunday, and he won't even start throwing for 10-14 days. Amaury Sanit will take his roster spot.

- Eric Chavez was placed on the 60-day DL. Well, that didn't take long.

- Hector Noesi was sent down to Scranton to make room for Jeffrey Marquez (when did he come back?) on the 25-man roster. Update: So Marquez was claimed off waivers from the White Sox today. FYI, Marquez was part of the package that was sent to Chicago for Nick Swisher.
