You know what I love about doubleheaders?
It means there's a day game I listen to at work on MLB radio. Somebody get SBN on a promotion campaign for them because I could easily write a post a week talking about how baseball over the internet has saved my out-of-market life.
You know what I hate about doubleheaders?
Everything. They're not old-timey, since the owners are still raking in the money from the double box offices, so there's no nostalgia. Since they're rarely planned far in advance, it's not like I can be excited for a day of baseball and take time off from work and the rest of my life to camp out in front of a tv (though I did attend a Memorial Day doubleheader with my brother a couple years ago- that was a great day). They screw up the pitching rotation and they encourage the manager to make stupider than normal bullpen decisions.
And for the most important point of this rant. Can you remember a creepier baseball picture in the last 3 years? Doubleheader COGs to anyone who posts a creepier baseball picture (must happen on the diamond).
