Mood Music - Rain by The Beatles
For the seventy-fourth time so far this season, the Yankees game tonight has been canceled due to rain. As this will be the Yankees only trip to Cincinnati (the joys of interleague), the game will be made up tomorrow via doubleheader. Freddy Garcia will get the ball in the afternoon game, with Brian Gordon going in the evening. Now that is a powerful tandem.
Around the American League East, the Red Sox will host the Padres, with our old friend Alfredo Aceves facing Mat Latos. The Rays will travel to play the Brewers, the Blue Jays will face the Braves, and the Orioles will play the Pirates in Pittsburgh.
There is also plenty of baseball going on in the rest of the league, as well as some interesting threads here at Pinstripe Alley. Oh, and, as always in these threads, feel free to get as far off topic as you would like.
