After a series win against the Chicago Cubbies, the Bombers continue interleague play with a jaunt to Cincinnati to face the three-games-above-.500 Reds.
The pitching matchup heavily favors Cincinnati, as Cueto is having an ace-type season. Cueto has been scratched in favor of Travis Wood. The southpaw has never faced the Yankees, and the only Yankee to ever see him is Chris Dickerson, who did so last year as a Brewer.
Nova will have to be very careful with two hitters: reigning MVP Joey Votto and rightfielder Jay Bruce.
