Fan Confidence Poll

New, comments

What better day to gauge your faith in the Yankees than today?

The Bronx Bombers scraped together a gritty, gutty, scrapilicious rally, scoring two runs with two outs in the 8th and two runs with two outs in the bottom of the ninth.

Following the win, the entire team gathered as one on the top step of the dugout and gave the middle finger to the broadcast booth, where John Sterling was wrapping up a 4-1 Yankee loss, having completely failed to notice anything about the actual game.

To celebrate the 7th time in 8 games that the pitching staff has allowed 4 runs or fewer, CC Sabathia ate 3 buffet tables and one of Mark Teixeira's children (CC apparently thought mini-Tex was a Cornish Hen; CC apologized to Tex and offered to buy him a new child with some of his opt out money).

In the spirit of Douglas Adams, on this, the 11th annual Towel Day, I invite you all to vote, but please, DON'T PANIC (notice the large, friendly letters).
