Ivan Nova unraveled again- MLB hitters can make adjustments, so Nova either needs to alter his plan the second or third time through the lineup, or he needs to hold a pitch in reserve. Easier said than done, I know.
The Yankees' playoff hopes still ride on the left arm of Andy Pettitte. Andy's rehab start with AA Trenton went well last night, and so long as he feels ok over the next couple of days, he'll be back in the big leagues on Sunday.
Amidst all the defensive gems in last night's game, the offense went overlooked. But they chased Matt Garza in the fifth inning and kept putting runners on base all night. Let's hope it's the start of a long hot streak for everyone involved.
