Yankees 6, A's 2

This is what we all know AJ is capable of.  Burnett threw 7 innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits and 2 walks.  The Yankees bats gave him a cushion to work with by posted a 5 run 4th inning, and the game was basically over after that.

Nick Swisher was a triple short of the cycle, Brett Gardner stole his 25th base, and Ramiro Pena moved his average above the Mendoza line, although we might want to think about calling it the Pena line from now on.

Play of the Game: Mark Teixeira's 3-run homer capped the Yankees 4th inning, and increased the chances of winning by over 24%.

Quote of the Game: Jedi Master A-Rod knows his cologne:

Gio - A fragrance for when you know it’s going to be a short night
