The last time Bannister faced the Yanks (August '08), he conceded 10 runs in the first inning... He's allowed at least four earned runs in each of his last four starts... The Royals called up Alex Gordon after David DeJesus was DL'ed.

Against a free-swinging team like Kansas City, I'm cautiously expecting Good A.J. (assuming his hands are healed)... What's most concerning about A.J. is how his K rate has plummeted (9.6, 9.4, 8.5, 6.7 the last four years).
