Stop me if you've heard this before: Andy Pettitte takes the hill for the Yankees as they try to secure a series win at home against the Phillies. While we will all be hoping for the same result, here are a few other things I'd like to draw your attention to:
A-Rod was back in the lineup last night, and after two fly outs, drew a walk and smacked a double down the left field line (he was facing Brad Lidge, so he figured it would be appropriate to remind him how he rolls. And while we're on the subject, this is always worth a watch too.)
Pettitte will be opposed tonight by Kyle Kendrick and his career 5.08 FIP. If anything is going to hold the Phillies back in the NL, it will be the back end of their rotation (these offensive struggles won't last).
And finally, Game 7 of the NBA finals between the Celtics and Lakers will be on tonight at 9PM. I know there are both Celtics and Lakers fans among us, and as I'm pretty much indifferent, allow me to demonstrate my impartial nature by providing videos both of Pau Gasol flopping and Kevin Garnett flopping in truly pathetic ways.
