A.J. Burnett is 4-0. Francisco Cervelli is all powerful. The Yankees have won another series, riding the pair to a 4-1 victory over Baltimore Tuesday night.
Play of the Game: I know I'm supposed to give you what FanGraphs judges the most pivotal play in the game. Gotta break the rules tonight, though, and give the honor to our man Francisco Cervelli. How can I not when the king gives up the body like that, tumbling over the dugout railing -- and Tony Pena -- to catch a foul pop by Baltimore's Garrett Atkins.
Comment of the Game: So many great things said throughout the game about Cervelli. Virtually impossible to choose. I will give the honor to the exchange between 'Bronx_Booyah,' and 'MonotonousBlob.'
NOTE: Have to mention the passing of legendary Tigers broadcaster Ernie Harwell Tuesday at 92. Shame on the person who admitted in the Game Thread comments they did not know who Harwell was. Rest in peace, Ernie. And learn some baseball history, people!
