Ah, a getaway game starting at 8:00 Eastern, followed by a flight back to New York.
You know what would make that flight a lot more enjoyable? A win to complete the sweep.
So the Yankees hope that Javy Vazquez, who has pitched well of late, will take the baton from Andy Pettitte and dominate the Twins. The bullpen figures to be short handed: I haven't heard confirmation yet, but I expect D-Rob and Mo to be unavailable.
If the Yanks can't find their offense against Nick Blackburn, Vazquez will have to be as good as he was against the Mets before a bloody finger from a failed bunt took him out after six shutout innings.

Let's go Yankees!
