Game 38 Thread: Can Hughes Keep It Up?

New, comments
This pitch will likely result in an out, as most Phil Hughes pitches do this season.

Phil Hughes has been outstanding this season, probably the Yankees' best pitcher. Hughes looks to continue his solid pitching tonight, as the Yankees go up against their beantown rivals. Daisuke Matsusaka goes up against Hughes for the Red Sox. Matsusaka this season has struggled (6.35 ERA), but Matsusaka still has a 2-1 record. I find it interesting that Girardi keeps going with Pena across the field, giving Rodriguez and Jeter days off in the field, over Cervelli at catcher and Posada at DH.
