The title is an obvious contrast to the "to teh pen" saying we have here at Pinstripe Alley. Cervelli caught a great game today, and also got a big 2-run single with bases loaded two outs in the 4th in a Yankees 7-1 victory over the Angels.

Andy Pettitte was awesome once again, going 8 strong innings for the win. Pettitte gave up only six hits and one earned run. Pettitte's eight strikeouts were his most since August 14th of last season against the Seattle Mariners.

Funny Moment of the Game: After Ramiro Pena makes a diving grab, a heckling fan yells "you're lucky Arod" (assuming Rodriguez was playing third, not Pena)

Comment of the Game: mrljdavid's comment on Francisco Cervelli.

Play of the Game: Cervelli's two-run single in the 4th.

In other news, how about Cano and Gardner? Anyone here think Gardner or Granderson should take over the #2 spot in the lineup from Johnson?
