ALDS Game 2: Yankees at Twins

Since I'm picking up the Game Thread from Duggan, let's start with some Mood Music: Radio Nowhere by Bruce Springsteen.

Carl Pavano has pitched 22.2 innings against the Yankees, and he might be the man that Yankee fans most want to pummel this postseason. For the Yankees' lineup, patience is not a virtue when faced with a guy who throws 68% of his pitches for strikes (2010 MLB average is 63%).

By now we all know the story with Andy Pettitte, we just don't know what to expect. If he's sharp and gets ahead of the Twins' hitters, the Yanks will be in great shape. Otherwise, Joe Girardi knows he has an off-day tomorrow, so Joba, D-Rob, Wood and Boone are all available.
