The Yankees stand on the brink of elimination with their ace going today.
We all remember how C.J. Wilson outpitched CC Sabathia in Game 1, but will the situation be reversed with CC going on normal rest? We have to hope so.
CC has to get ahead - he only threw 51 of 93 pitches for strikes (55%) in the first game and seven of his first eight for balls. Consequently, he conceded three runs in the very first inning.
On the other side, Wilson didn't allow a run until a Robinson Cano homer in the seventh. The Yankees seem to hit better, though, when they've recently seen the starting pitcher.
