"For the most part," says Brian Cashman. Obviously there's a lot of wiggle room in that statement, but the (current) leftfielder is Brett Gardner. There's still an outside chance to see Johnny Damon back in the Bronx if he's willing to accept a one-year deal, but I doubt Damon or Boras will stoop that low. Cash also seems to want a right-handed batter to platoon LF with Gardy. If JHJ returns, he'll likely see some time in LF.
